Men's Forum: Desiring Marriage, Pursuing Wisdom

While the Bible is generally clear on matters relating to singleness and marriage, it can seem less clear on the ambiguous stage in-between. How can a single man express his desire for marriage healthily, and take active steps towards it intentionally and patiently? How do you pursue a woman with godly wisdom, brotherly love, boldness and honour? What about the risks of embarrassment and rejection? If things do not work out, does that mean we can no longer be part of the same church community? This forum seeks to navigate through the many landmines of these matters with honest conversation. If you are a Christian single men who desires marriage, including those who are in a relationship and not-yet-married, please join us!

Women's Forum: Chasing Contentment

We're all searching for contentment no matter the season. Whether it's in relationships, jobs, finances, or something else entirely, we all want to be happy and fulfilled. And yet, all too often we find ourselves disappointed with what God has given us. But the apostle Paul says that he learned the "secret" of being content in any and every situation. Contentment does not mean a resignation to accept and endure your circumstance – rather it equips you with robust faith to contend with your present circumstance while holding onto the future promises of God.

While this is a topic that applies to all of us, we have planned a fun morning out for the single women in RHC. Come along for brunch with the girls, be encouraged by looking at some case studies and what scripture has to say to you and learn about how you can actively chase contentment.
