Missions

Our Missions Strategy

Beginning right at the core (Domestic Evangelism), the Spheres are in the order of priority. All the Spheres overlap, are interrelated, and build upon each other.

Each Sphere is a unique way of doing either evangelism or building the local church (thereby fulfilling the central Great Commission requirement of making disciples).

The Spheres are inspired by the practices and examples in the Acts of the Apostles.

What we’re doing locally

Christianity Explored

Christianity Explored is a casual and relaxed way of helping people find out more about the person and work of Jesus Christ through the Gospel of Mark, as well as give them the time and space to think and discuss about some of life’s big questions.

Discovering Christianity

Discovering Christianity has long been a platform for us to bring our non-believing friends to. It consists of a few important passages of Scripture, discussed across six sessions.

Recently, the DC material has been converted into a turn-key resource, which includes a facilitator guide and participant handout. This can be used with anyone who is willing to read the Bible together: one-to-one or in a small group setting.

Table Talk

Table Talk is a fun conversational platform that aims to encourage us to better see everyday, commonplace and cultural things through the lens of the Gospel. In so doing, we prayerfully hope that the Spirit would use this platform to also inspire us to evangelism, within our various spheres of community.

We occasionally organise pre-evangelistic Table Talk forums, where we invite Christian speakers to share on topics that both believers and non/pre-believers can relate to. And at the same time, show how the gospel speaks into these very same things.

What we’re doing globally

Short-Term Exposure Programmes (STEP) @ RHC

STEP stands for Short-Term Exposure Programme, where we send out teams of RHCers to countries where we have key partners for short trips (1-2 weeks).

We focus on locations where we have existing or developing key partners, so that the gospel impact will be more sustainable as relationships are formed.

Church Planting

Church planting and/or church-planting related endeavours.

Forming Church Partnerships

We partner with like-minded and doctrinally-aligned churches in Asia Pacific (e.g. Resound) and in Singapore (e.g. The Gospel Fellowship)
