In this session of Planting Stories, we’re thrilled to welcome one of our Resound church partners, Raffy (lead pastor of Word Community Church, Manila) to share his unique journey of leading a revitalisation in a church more than 30 years old.
What does it take to shepherd a long-established congregation through renewal? Raffy will take us behind the scenes of navigating the realities that come with a deep history: of multiple generations, cherished traditions, ingrained habits, lingering hurts, and the many strengths and struggles that shape an ageing church.
Join us as he recounts the road that subsequently led to the church’s replanting in 2023, and the lessons learned along the way about courage, patience, and faithful leadership in seasons of change.
