What does it look like to say "yes" to global missions?
After serving in ministry right here in Singapore for a decade, the Lord redirected the Chan family to Malang, Indonesia. Since 2013, Aaron and Sylvia Chan have been living out that calling, serving on the faculty of Southeast Asia Bible Seminary. Rather than planting a single church, their mission has been to deepen the root system of the global church, labouring in the theological and spiritual formation of local Indonesian and overseas Chinese students who are sent out to the frontlines of gospel ministry.
If you have ever felt a nudge toward cross-cultural missions, wondered what it takes to sustain a family on the field long-term, or just simply curious, we invite you to this special weeknight gathering.
Come enjoy a catered dinner, share in warm fellowship, and listen to Aaron and Sylvia share firsthand about:
What it looks like to train pastors and leaders in a multicultural and missional context
Navigating a decade of transition, cross-cultural living, and raising children in the mission field
How a Trinitarian, Christ-centered, and Church-oriented conviction shapes the urgent evangelisation of our neighbouring nations
Whether you are seriously considering global missions, curious about theological education, or looking for a space to ask practical questions about long-term service, this evening is for you. Space is limited due to catering, so please RSVP early.
