Many of us—whether or not we consider ourselves religious—have wrestled with this question: “If God Is Good, Why Am I Still Hurting?”
We often hear that God loves us or that Jesus brings peace. But for those walking through real mental and emotional pain, those words can feel distant or even hollow. Why do we still struggle with anxiety, depression, or emotional exhaustion, even when we’re trying to believe in something bigger than ourselves?
This evening is a space for honest conversation about mental and emotional suffering, and how it intersects with faith. We’ll explore the tension between believing in a good God and living with real hurt—and ask if hope is still possible.
Whether you're a Christian, or a skeptic, or are simply curious, you’re warmly invited. We encourage you to prayerfully consider inviting your non-believing family and friends too! Come listen, ask questions, or just sit in. No pressure—just an open, thoughtful space to reflect and connect.
