Our Migrant Worker Fellowship is looking for pre-loved clothes and related items for female domestic helpers. Following the clothes collection, we will host two follow up initiatives. The first will be a flea market in August where domestic helpers can browse and collect or purchase pre-loved items that they like. The second will be a fellowship gathering, likely in September, where the domestic helpers will be invited for food, drinks, and community.
[Please note that while all donated items have been given freely, we intend to charge a token fee at the flea market. This is intended to encourage participation in the subsequent fellowship event.]
Items we are looking to collect include:
Pre loved dresses and female apparel
Pre loved bags and pouches
Women's accessories, including necklaces, bracelets, unworn or new earrings, hats, caps, headbands, belts, and wallets
All donated items should be in good condition (items must be clean, undamaged, and free from stains).
Collection dates: Sundays, 19 July & 26 July, before and after all four congres in the Foyer
