Let's Talk About Mercy & Justice

  • Heritage Room (Level 2, Furama) (map)

When we look at the life of Jesus, we see a God who moves toward the hurting, the overlooked, and the oppressed. As a church, we care about mercy and justice not because it’s trendy—but because it’s part of God’s heart and mission in the world. For we first received love and mercy from Christ, that we seek the renewal of our communities and respond to the missional mandate to "go". That’s why our Mercy & Justice (M&J) ministry exists: to help us live this out in real, practical ways that allow the gospel to go forth for His glory and to help us to grow in our faith.

We invite you to come and hear more about how we think about M&J at RHC. As it isn’t just about signing up for a project or ticking a box -- it’s about asking deeper questions—Who is my neighbour? What does love in action look like? What if I don't have time or can't make it for any of the serving opportunities on the list? Is membership at RHC a prerequisite to serving? How can I be equipped and supported in my serving? Whether you’re already serving or just curious, whether you feel ready or unsure, we’d love for you to join us at this session!
