Series Overview
In 1 Samuel, we see how God chooses the house of David over the house of Saul, subverting the earthly assumptions of his people. God constantly works in counter-intuitive ways, but does so to reveal His eternal purposes for His people.
In 2 Samuel, we focus on David's rise to power and see how that points to the true and better David, King Jesus.
