Imagine a generation of youth who love God and run after Him with a passion. Imagine a group of young men and women who love their fellow brothers and sisters more than themselves. Imagine an army of leaders developed with the word of God, fighting for God’s purpose. This is the heart and vision for Redemption Hill Youth. We long to see this generation of youth rise up and step into the calling that God has prepared for them; to align their will with the Father’s, and to reach out to a world that is lost in a myriad of distractions – a world that is aching to be redeemed and restored by the blood of the Cross.
Redemption Hill Youth focuses on discipling youth with the word of God, and developing them through deep mentor relationships. A group of 11 – 16 year old youths currently meets on Friday evenings at Darrell & Cheryl’s, 70B Fernhill Road, at 7.30pm, and runs through the word of God after a time of worship. The evening is rounded off with a time of sharing and connecting over games, slurpees at 7-11, fries at MacDonalds or just causal conversation.
In the coming months, we are planning to start another group for the older youths aged 15 – 18 – so watch this space!
