1. Tithes & Offering
There are offering boxes at the front of the auditorium and at the Welcome Desk every Sunday. RHC’s bank details are available in the Church Bulletin and on our website as well.
2. Kids Ministry Volunteers
RHC’s Kids Ministry is growing and we are in need of volunteers to help teach the next generation about Jesus! We need volunteers for all classes (kids from 18 months – 14 years).
Teaching skill is not a requirement; we need helpers to assist teachers during Sunday worship services. You will only be required to help out once a month! Sign up at the Welcome Desk this Sunday or contact Tarryn (tarrynmurphy@gmail.com).
3. Ladies’ Weekday Morning Bible Study
When: Starting Tuesday, 17 Jan, 9:45am
Where: Near Newton MRT
All ladies are invited to join us for a weekly time of Bible study and fellowship, as we start our next study: Walking by Faith by Jennifer Rothschild. For more information or to sign up (even if you are unable to attend the first meeting or on Tuesdays), please contact Rene Grobbelaar (82001504 / grobbelaar.r@gmail.com).
4. No Prayer Meeting for January
As we will be meeting together to pray during our Church Fast, there will be no other prayer meeting later on in the month.
5. RHC Members Meeting
When: Sunday, 29 Jan, after Second Service
Where: Oriental Plaza, 3rd Floor Auditorium
We will be having our quarterly Members’ meeting on Sunday the 29 January after our second service. Lunch will be served and we will be discussing some important church matters including financial reviews and plans for the year. Members’ meetings are open to Members and those who have signed-up for the Connected Class happening in Feburary (Please see point 8 below). Please RSVP with Rachel Berry (8133 3129/rachel@rhc.org.sg) or fill in the attached Relate Card so that we know how many to expect for lunch!
6. Newcomers Gathering
When: Sunday 5 Feb 2012
Where: TBC
If you are new to RHC and would like to find out more about the church, we would love to have you at our upcoming New Comers’ Gathering! Please RSVP at the Welcome Desk or fill out the attached Relate Card and drop it into one of our Tithes & Offering boxes. 7. Men’s Breakfast
When: Saturday, 11 Feb, 7.45am
Where: Bukit Timah Nature Reserve
Cost: $10 per adult – breakfast included!
Calling all men! You are invited to scale the heights of Bukit Timah Hill, followed by a hearty breakfast. If you have children above the age of three, feel free to bring them along. Please email Wee Loon (loonbert@yahoo.com) by 5th February to register or if you have any questions.
8. Connected Class
When: Friday, 17 Feb & Saturday, 18 Feb
Where: Oriental Plaza, 2nd Floor Classrooms
The Connected Class is RHC’s membership class. If you would like to attend and find out more about becoming a member of RHC, please RSVP with Rachel Berry (rachel@rhc.org.sg / 8133 3129). Individuals who missed out on either session previously can do a make-up by attending those sessions this time around.
